A Rough-legged Hawk was spotted on the top of a telephone pole on the right
side of U S Route 15 today just outside of Leesburg, VA, towards Leggetts, at
about 1015 this morning, 02/07/2004. The bird was probably an immature female
of the pale variant of the species.
