I apologize for not reading the thread carefully. Guess I would say that
I would, as a birder, support Sunday hunting of deer.

I am neither for nor against the Sunday Hunting ban in Virginia. I
just
want to add a few facts. Hunting is currently allowed on Sunday on
"licensed" commercial game preserves in Virginia. Virginia is only
one of
ten states the still ban hunting on Sundays. West Virginia
currently
allows Sunday hunting in only selected counties. Virginia is very
tradition
bound so the repeal will not be easy. For both supporters and
opponents
of Virginia's Sunday hunting ban the next few years will be very
important.
