[va-bird] Rough-legged Hawks

Thanks to Joe Coleman's earlier post here. I was able to see three
different Rough-legged Hawks along Montressor Rd., Rte. 661, north of
Leesburg, at about noon today, February 2. There were also at least three
Red-tails in the area, and the flock of sparrows at the point Montressor
turns north obligingly flew out from the field and perched in the
hedgerow. There were about 30 birds, evenly divided among Field and
American Tree Sparrows. A couple of Eastern Meadowlarks were in the same
general area.
