Cindy,

Just as we were about ready to give up our search for Barney, we saw you
and another gentleman stopped ahead of us and you had "the look of a
birder," you know, happy, active, and constantly looking around while
making occasional eye-contact with people. Then you actually led us West
Virginia people right to Barney. (Actually we're Montana and Texas
transplants - category 3?) We can't thank you enough, as well as Paula and
all the wonderful people sending in their sightings to the list serve that
got us there. (Should we also thank Bill Gates and Al Gore for the
internet? Never mind...)

It was certainly worth the drive for both seeing an absolutely wonderful
bird (category 3 sounds good to me...) and meeting such great people. I do
believe there was more than one person there who was not already a birder,
but came because of the newspaper article. Great!

The "Soooo Happy" people,
Diana and Gary
