Good evening all,

       I believe the next Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve bird walk will be 
held next Saturday, Feb 9. Banshee Reeks is located just outside of Leesburg, 
Virginia. The walk begins at 8:00 a.m., and it is usually finished by noon.

       If you live in Northern Virginia and would be interested in car 
pooling or caravaning out to Banshee Reeks, please send me an email. As of 
this evening, we have 4 people from Northern Virginia who are planning on 
making the trip. You are welcome to join us.

       I understand the folks who sponser the walks are trying to increase 
the number of people who attend the walks because there are some people in 
the county who want to see Banshee Reeks turned into soccer fields and the 
like. This sure has the ring of a really, really bad idea to me.
