[va-bird] Barnacle Goose -- GPS data

Several of us watched the Barnacle Goose in Lake Cook for over an hour
this morning. It was in the lake immediately adjacent to Cameron Run
Regional Park's water slide facility, off Eisenhower avenue. We were
able to observe it several times as it came out of the water and treated
us to full body views.

The Barnacle mingles thoroughly with the Canadian Geese; since the
Barnacke is smaller, it is often completely hidden from view by a larger
Canadian. Patience is well worth it.

Earlier, someone asked for GPS coordinates to assist visitors to the
area in homing in on the Goose. The viewing area for Lake Cook is
located at:

N 38*48.304'
W077*05.863'

There is a small parking area for fishermen and birders (between the
adjacent townhomes and the lake.
