FreeLists / va-bird / [va-bird] "Barney"--thanks for the directions

We wanted to thank everyone on the list serve who provided such good directions 
for places to look for the Barnacle Goose. We joined the many goose watchers at 
Cameron Run Regional Park just off Eisenhower Avenue this morning around 9 a.m. 
 "Barney" provided everyone with great looks from a vantage point across a 
small body of water as well as for those on the same side of the pond as it 
was. A bit earlier in the morning the goose and some friends from Canada had 
flown from Cameron Run proper to this location. It will be fun to see if our 
pictures, using the camera/scope technique, turn out.

Again, thanks to all the searchers who went before us.
