Birders,

There weren't a whole lot of ducks out on Belmont Bay this gorgeous morning, 
but birders on the weekly bird walk managed to pick out two RING-NECKED 
DUCKS and about half a dozen BUFFLEHEAD from the RUDDIES and SCAUP.  Also 
present were 28 TUNDRA SWANS.  Full species list follows.
The bird walk at Mason Neck State Park takes place every Saturday from 9 to 
11am, except in February when it goes on hiatus for the month.  No 
reservations are needed, and all are welcome.  We meet at the Visitor Center 
and then hike the Bay View Trail.  If you have any questions, you may 
address them to me at the address below.  I am reachable Saturday through 
Wednesday.
