This is the type of email I have been receiving. I thought we were going to
let the legislature decide this issue.

I find your attitude incredibly selfish. There are places I bird that I would
not dare go during hunting season, except on Sunday. You are an example of why
people are turning against hunters and their behavior. I have closed all of my
acreage to hunting now because of slob hunters like you. I let friends hunt a
few times to keep down the deer numbers, but I wouldn't let the general hunting
population on my property because of people who have attitudes like yours. You
think you are entitled to EVERYTHING, but I have news for you, you are just
another selfish person in my book.
My response
Name calling does not do anyone any good. Calling me a "slob" hunter is very
childish and naive on your part. You are the reason the some hunters hate
birders. You are the selfish one. Many people rely on hunting to supplement
their food for the year. Many of those people work six days a week. I donate
a lot of my deer to Hunters for the Hungry and to the UCM a church based group
on route 1 in Alexandria.
I would like to let this issue rest.
