Paul Sykes phoned to report that David Hughes found one Little and two
Black-headed Gulls among many Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls at Fort Story
on 31
December. Nearby, a Yellow-throated Warbler is coming to a residential
feeder. On yesterday's CBC in Suffolk, 2 Cave Swallows fed for several hours
along the northeastern corner of Craney Island, observed by Sykes and Audrey
Whitlock (who also photographed them). The birds came as close as 15 feet!
