[va-bird] Brown-headed Nuthatch Jan 1 in James City County

Several members of Williamsburg Bird Club met at Greensprings Nature Trail
between 1 and 3 p.m. on January 1 to celebrate the New Year. This is a 4.7
mile soft surface trail around a fresh water wetland area surrounded by
woods and fields (and more and more houses!). It is located behind Jamestown
High School on Route 5 near Williamsburg.
Highlights of the day were BROWN-HEADED NUTHATCH and COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.
Group of nine birders focused on the area around the boardwalk over the
marsh and recorded 30 species:
