As I was leaving my house to go to Charlottesville this afternoon, at the
corner or rt 600 and 651(Zion Rd) there was a group of approximately 50 Canada
Geese with one adult male Snow Goose mixed in the group. They were all about
30-50 ft from the road and slowly grazing. I was able to stop on the side of
the
road and get out binoculars, observe it in detail and leave without disturbing
