Greetings,
The dark immature Rough-legged Hawk that I found on 23 December along US 17 
was seen there again today.  It was sitting atop a phone pole, with an adult 
Red-tailed Hawk perched fifty feet away.  It was directly across the street 
from 
the big roller skate at Hugo's, right at the dot on the map called Lois. 

This is a different bird than the one Alex Merritt reported on New Year's Day 
along US 29 south of Remington.  Different highways, quite a few miles apart. 
 

And since this worked two years ago, I think I'll try it again:
