[va-bird] Bath County Jan. 4 2004

Hello all
Yesterday Pat & I took a little trip over to Lake Moomaw to see what species of
waterfowl were around . Lake Moomaw was empty of waterfowl . I guess the warm
temperatures & somewhat sunny days kept them flying South . Any way here is
what we found in & around Bath County yesterday .
Canada Goose -- 201
Gadwall -- 37
Black Duck -- 67
Mallard -- 73
Green -- winged Teal -- 1
Ring -- necked Duck -- 151
Hooded Merganser -- 20
Pied -- billed Grebe -- 2
Bald Eagle -- 3 ( 2 Imm. & 1 Adult )
Ring -- billed Gull -- 1
