[va-bird] Clark's Grebe update with documentation & pictures

Clark's Grebe update - Friday, January 2, 2004
Last January (2003) I was successful in locating the Clark's Grebe at Fort
Story but unsuccessful in photographing due to equipment failure. Second
time proved to be the charm. Not only were we able to immediately locate
the grebe upon arrival at First Landing this morning but I managed to get a
few photos.
Below is link to web page with write-up of today's observations along with
a few pictures of the Clark's Grebe. The pictures do not do this bird
justice. Low light and distance with moving subject are difficult at best
with digiscoping equipment.
