[va-bird] Harris's Sparrow at Metz, Golden Eagle Fauquier 31 December

Happy New Year from Martha's Vineyard. Nice up here, a bit windy. Good
numbers of Catbirds around the house here.
George Armistead and Marshall Iliff saw the Julie Metz Wetlands Harris's
Sparrow yesterday, 31 December. It sounded like it was in the typical spot,
and
easy to locate.
While heading to Blandy for a look at the Black-throated Gray Warbler, George
and Marshall found an adult Golden Eagle at Sky Meadows State Park in
Fauquier County.
