[va-bird] Short-eared Owl....NO

Birders,
This evening, from 4:40 to 5:35 PM, Rosemarie and I looked for
Short-eared Owls in Louisa County on Rt. 617 near Zion Cross Roads.
None were seen.
Earlier at Lake Orange we saw the following:
Common Merganser (1 male)
Common Goldeneye (1 Male)
Bufflehead (6)
Hooded Merganser (15)
Pied-billed Grebe (1)
Ring-billed Gull (200)
One male Purple Finch was seen in the yard.
