Hello all
This morning I observed the Ross's Goose on Bells Lane in Staunton at 9 : 30 am
to about 10 : 15 . I got some photos . The bird is in a flock of about 700 +
Canada Geese . Hopefully the goose will settle down in this area because it
has not stayed in a given area for no more than a day .
Directions to Bells Lane -- Take I 81 North or South to exit 225 . This will
put you on RT 275 -- go west on Rt . 275 a very short distance ( no more than
3 or 4 tenths of a mile ) you will see a sign for Bells Lane ( street sign )
turn left & stay straight you will see the open fields once you are top of the
hill . Look to locate the Canada's -- the goose is the only white one there .
These Canada's maybe in several groups thru out the fields , so you may have to
relocate yourself for a better view of the birds .
