[va-bird] Lesser Black-backed Gull at Dyke Marsh

I went down to Hunting Creek south of Alexandria in hopes of spotting a rare
gull (like a California thats been evading me for two weeks now). No
california, but there standing to one side of several Great Black-backs was a
smaller dark-mantled bird with heavy streaking around the eyes and yellow legs.
A nice adult basic plumaged Lesser Black-backed Gull. A fine bird to get for
our Julian calendar records for the first week of 2003.
