[va-bird] Female Baltimore Oriole in Chesapeake

On the 1st of January I had the pleasure of watching a female Baltimore =
Oriole eat from the peanut feeder in my backyard. She arrived around 10am =
and continued to feed off and on for 2 hours or so. She remained until a =
rather rude Mockingbird chased her away. I didn't see her again for the =
rest of the day.
I thought that was the last of my little lady Baltimore, but low and =
behold, she was back on both Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th. She =
feeds only at the peanut feeder and at rather regular intervals: first at =
7:30am and then at 10am. She occasionally eats in between those times, =
but never later than 11am. =20
Because I work during the day I'm not sure if she is still coming to the =
feeder, but I've asked my husband to keep watch. I keep the peanut feeder =
filled in hopes that she will stay around for a while. I'll keep you =
posted.
