Birders,

The drake Eurasian Widgeon was still at the pond on Harrison Road, The
Plains this morning around 9:30. He was with a group of about ten American
Widgeon. There were over 1000 Canada Geese feeding in the pasture aound the
pond. Among them was the immature Snow Goose and a very large hydrid Canada
x domestic goose. While there I saw a flock of about 50 Starlings moving
through the unmowed field to the east of the pond. In the Starling flock
was a single male Brewer's Blackbird.
