Log, Stardate 58966.30
It sure is quahet aboard ship. With a shift of 50 aboard, the rest of
the crew is off on leave. Even Malachi is on Earth, at mah parent's
farm. They came aboard yesterday, and took him back with them. Mah
mother insists she will put him to work preparing for the Christmas
Soiree, but if Ah know her, everytahme Mal asks where he cain help,
she'll assure him she has everything under control and send him out to
enjoy himself. Ah know he loves the horses and helping mah father take
care of them. Noah was the same way.
Mah mother is preparing a huge Christmas feast. She insisted Ah
invahte the whole crew. Ah've told her that some will need to stay
aboard ship, and Ah know she will be sending food up to the ship. Mah
fahter has a section of the barn already set up for the party. We'd
never be able to fit all the people in the house.
Ah spoke with April. She is doing much better and Jessie is healthy.
Ah already have some holoimages to give to mah parents. Ah wish April
could also be here for Christmas.
