ON: Josie entered the Eagle's Nest with several PADDs in her hand. She placed them on the table, nodded to Gwen and Rommie as she passed, and got some tea from the replicator. Returning to her table she sat by herself. It was normally that way. She had earned, or so she thought, the trust of the bridge crew but the rest of the crew still seemed wary almost frightened of her. Mr. Vanik was the last person to hold any type of conversation with her and that ended after the explanation of what a "superhero" was. He most likely thought she was out of her mind like everyone else who wasn't afraid she was one of the "Borg". She liked Malachi but was really not expecting to be teaching a child about the position of science officer. Still he was a very bright boy, very easy to teach and quick to learn. She was concerned about him. That last encounter with Icon he could have been seriously injured. She had heard the rumors of him and Melody's young love. She herself couldn't remember t he last time she was in love herself with everything that had happened in her life since she was 16. Heck she hadn't even had time to... Josie shook her head to stop that train of thought. Max was really enjoying himself here. He had much more freedom moving about the ship through the computer system that ran the ship then he ever had back home when it was just him and her. She also knew there were empaths and telepaths here so she constantly had her mental shields up. That was one of the perks of having a computer in her head was it was like having a firewall for her thoughts. Josie had taken up reading books that had yet to be published in her time frame at home. She was currently working on the Harry Potter series since she had involved herself in the Quidditch match. She knew she could just download the stories directly into her brain but it just wasn't the same. So Josie sat by herself, sipping her tea, and reading her book.
