Malachi shut off the PADD with his classwork on it. Most times he did not mind his schoolwork. Today he found it way too boring. There were way too many things going on that he was curious about. He had seen the Orion trader ship being towed by the USS Rotunda. He watched them release it from their tractor and when the smaller ship disappeared from view, he assumed it had been picked up by the Eagle's tractor beam. He was certain he would find out about it soon enough.

Another thing he was really curious about was the incident that happened with Dr. Melody and the light being. Malachi wondered why he could hear everything that had been said. He also wondered how the assistant medical officer was handling the situation. He decided now was as good a time as any to find out. He put his studies away and headed for sick bay.

As Malachi entered sick bay, he saw Dr. Melody treating Ensign Desho for some injury. Malachi knew that Desho was very good with the ship's holo system and was able to find a way around the command setings for the safties on the holo-deck. It was no secret that Desho would often use a skiiing program with the safties off.
