ON
Lieutenant Haas brought the Danube-class runabout into the
planet's atmosphere. On the ground below he could see the Falcon and
a larger cruiser close by it. He knew Josie would be busy trying to
find Falcon's crew, so he kept an eye on the power signatures
for the cruiser. Sure enough. The power signatures from the cruiser
spiked. It was going to lift off, and no doubt, come after them.
"E-everyone buckle in," Rommie called out. "Things are about to get a
l-little rough. Josie. Priority is f-finding our people on the
ground."
It wasn't long until the crew aboard the runabout felt the energy beams
from the Frinkta cruiser striking the sheilds. The ship shuddered with
each hit to the defensive screens. Haas dipped and swerved the small
ship. He tried to keep in the area so as to give Josie the maximum of
chances to find their lost crewmen.
