If you want to write an howto on the scsi emulation stuff you'll have to
explain how to activate the ide-scsi module in different
distributions/bootloaders.
In Mandrake 10 for example they hacked cdrecord and ohter burning
programs to work without ide-scsi drivers. So saying "if cdrecord works on
your system then the scsi emulation should also work" is not right anymore.
But ts no problem to switch back to ide-scsi in Mandrake 10.
