On the large pond by the Peninsula Outpatient facility off Baum Drive in west 
Knoxville (Knox County) this afternoon was an immature blue morph snow goose 
hanging out with about 150 Canada Geese, 10 resident Mallards and a few 
mixed-up quackers. Our office recently moved to the small office park on the 
other side of the pond so I've been checking it most week days just in case 
something interesting shows up.  I often see a ring necked duck and/or 2 or 3 
coots on the pond but not today.
