A hectic day today, with little bits of free time here and there--spent in 
pursuit of birds.  Results were pretty good, all things considered:

Snow Goose (8 in a cornfield on Old Stage Road, about a mile or so from the 
Washington Co. line)
Gadwall (9 at Kinser Park)
American Wigeon (2 at Kinser Park)
Green-winged Teal (14 at Kinser Park)

Sharp-shinned Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
American Kestrel (7)

American Coot (at Kinser Park)

Wilson's Snipe (2 at Kinser Park)

Eurasian Collared-Dove (in Baileyton, at the intersection of Main Street and 
Pine Loop) [This is the same location where one bird was observed on October 7, 
2006.  At that time, I posted the location as being on Old Baileyton Road 
rather than on Main Street.  My confusion stemmed from my not realizing that 
Old Baileyton Road is known as Main Street inside the town limits.  The site 
where the dove has been seen is about a half mile from I-81.]

Barn Owl (at Tusculum College)
Great Horned Owl (4--2 at Kinser Park, 2 near Tusculum)

Winter Wren (at Kinser Park)

White-crowned Sparrow (7)
