[TN-Bird] Re: Crows attacking a cat

I've got 2 crow tales: A friend described seeing a lone crow attempting to
take flight with an infant rabbit. It was having difficulty launching with
its load, and when it came down to earth, it was attacked by an adult
rabbit, presumably the mother. This was repeated several times, until the
crow gave up, dropped the bunny, and flew off. Don't mess with a mad
rabbit.
Tale # 2: I saw a crow drop a dark object from about 50 feet high into a
field. It retrieved it, carried it up as high again, then dropped it onto a
narrow paved road. I drove up to it as it was attempting to carry it off
again. It flew away, and I retrieved the object - a small eastern box
turtle. Gulls use the same method to crack open clamshells. I took the
slightly worn turtle up the road and left it under some leaf litter.
