[TN-Bird] White-faced Ibis not seen on 12/4

While working in Lake County today I ran by and checked the spot where the
White-faced Ibis had been hanging around. I saw no signs of the ibis anywhere
in the area although there are several spots where he could have been as there
is still alot of water around. Well, actually most of it was ice today after
it got down to 15 degrees last night!
In the area where the ibis had been I had the following:
Wilson's Snipe - 100+
Killdeer - 27
Least Sandpiper - 6
American Pipit - 7
There were also a few gulls in and out of the area. There was also an adult
Bald Eagle sitting on the ground just north of this area. I had 6 Western
Meadowlarks on Donald Road that flew across the road in front of me and landed
in a rice field. Also had Lapland Longspurs in small numbers in scattered
locations. I did not have time to check the big gull resting areas on Proctor
Rd. & Van Works Rd. but the area on Proctor Rd. was white with gulls as I could
see it from where I was working nearby - unfortunately time just did not permit
me to check it. We did see a flock of about 300 Snow Geese fly over with a
couple of Ross's in the mix.
Hopefully the ibis is still around - it's disappeared a few times in the past
and then has shown back up in some of the same areas again.
Good birding,
