FreeLists / tn-bird / [TN-Bird] Burrowing Owl in southern Illinois

Just a little alert, as a Burrowing Owl is being seen in southern Illinois.  
I've seen this species in Mississippi Co, AR just 20 miles from the 
Mississippi  River and have often said the species will be found in Lake Co. 
most likely 
off  79 Highway, the old ferry road that goes west toward the river.
 
The Townsend's Solitaire was another species long over due here in TN and  
they are known to stay in an area but be very difficult to find. I spent 5-6  
hours looking for one in AR before it appeared out of no where, over near  
Russellville. 
 
The birds are out there, good luck..................
