Around 3:30pm yesterday I spotted 7 Eurasian collared-doves on the telephone 
line on Dudley rd - about 30 yds south of the Mount Nebo Baptist Church. The 
birds were not seen when I passed by there about 20 minutes later. This is a 
fairly rural location. I know there are grain bins in the area - not sure how 
close to the sighting location. Also, there are railroad tracks a couple of 
miles away. I'm not sure if these birds are part of an established population, 
but I do know that they have been seen regularly in Trenton, KY (about 12 miles 
away). These are the first collared doves I've seen in Montgomery county.
