FreeLists / tn-bird / [TN-Bird] W Knox "Blue" Goose

When I came it to work this morning (1 Dec) I noticed the
retaining pond in front of our building was full of water
and geese.  Mostly Canada Geese (about 40) but also one
blue-morph Snow Goose.  A couple of the Canadas had neck
bands but I didn't get the numbers.  I was able to share
with some coworkers that are hunters and closet birders.

The location is just east of the Hardin Valley exit off of
Pellissippi Parkway in west Knox Co., TN.  I suspect the
best place to look for the bird will be at the Pellissippi
State pond across the parkway.
