Last night at around 5:30 pm I found 3 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS flying around
the fields at the student rec. center at Vanderbilt University in
Nashville. I usually see nighthawks around these fields well into
November, but this is my latest sighting ever and I always keep an eye
out. I suspect they'll probably stick around until winter break when the
lights won't be turned on for a couple of weeks. Where they go next is
anybody's guess.
