[TN-Bird] Saw-whet Owl banding in Maryville

We are still catching owls south of Maryville. Last night was the first time I
was out since Thanksgiving (although Dan Kim was running the nets periodically
last the last two weeks). We caught another female under a very bright (almost)
full moon. The moon was bright enough we could almost check our nets without
flashlights so we did not expect to get any birds. We also heard two other
birds while we were extracting the bird from the net.
This brings our total to 18 Saw-whets for 95 net hours (about 1 bird every five
hours).
