Preliminary results of the 2002 Cookeville CBC may
be viewed at this website:

The species total was 79, tied for second highest
locally.  No new species were detected during this
CBC.  Species of interest included 2 Brown-headed
Nuthatches, 1 Barn Owl, 357 Sandhill Cranes, and 1
Common Yellowthroat.
