Don't have a reference handy with weights, but I've seen a Cooper's
fly off, seemingly without much effort, with a Upland Sandpiper.

I read once (believe it was in Bent) that the American bird with
the biggest lift-to-weight ratio is...  Loggerhead Shrike at
around 1.5:1.  Still, for impressiveness alone, hard to beat a
Golden Eagle swooping down and carrying off a baby Mountain Goat.
