Today, 12-11-02 Wed., at 9:30am on my way to classes I observed 98 American 
White Pelicans on the Mississippi River in Memphis, TN. (Shelby County), back 
in one of the coves across from Mud Island near the Arkansas-side bank.  This 
is probably part of the same flock that Jeff Wilson saw here a week or so ago 
I'm sure.  But it was a beautiful sight to see on my way to class as I drive by 
the river everyday always scanning the river and finally see these beautiful 
creatures all over the river like they were.
