After accessing Steve Stedman's excellent website, 
iweb.tntech.edu/sstedman/DekalbTNPublicAccess.htm , 
we drove approx. 140 mi. Saturday to the Celina Sewage Lagoons
in Clay County, TN.

Highlights:

103 Bonaparte's Gulls (some swam within 7 feet of us).
2 Northern Shovellers
27 Buffleheads
32 Lesser Scaup
12 Ring-necked
2 dozen or so Ring-billed Gulls (some others may have been
present, but high winds and bright sun made it difficult to
verify) 
1 Cooper's Hawk (nearby field)

We struck out on the White Heron at Happy Hollow boat ramp
(Steve had already mentioned that it was likely gone).

Center Hill Dam and Floating Mill Recreation Area were pretty
much birdless (strong, gusty winds were white capping the
waters).  We did get a brief glimpse of an adult bald eagle
(white tail prominenet against dark body).
