Radnor Lake State Natural Area
Davidson Co.
Nashville, TN
2007 Nov. 11
8:15-9:45am
partly cloudy
With a bit of time on my hands I decided to see what ducks
had moved in to Radnor Lake. Although numbers were low,
there were 9 species on the lake: Mallard, Gadwall, Am.
Wigeon, Black, N. Shoveler, Ring-necked, and Wood, plus
1 Ruddy and 1 Green-winged Teal. Land bird winter visitors
were not particularly numerous either, except for
White-throated sparrows. The best bird was a late migrant
TENNESSEE WARBLER seen near the dam.
