[TN-Bird] Good gulls at Pace Point

Pace Point area
Jeff is having a great weekend around the Pace Point/Paris Landing area.
I'll let him provide the details, but just to get word out on the gulls so
far, here goes. The lake has fallen rapidly the last couple of days, back
down about a foot since I was up there last, so now there are spots for
gulls to congregate. At Pace Point itself today, Jeff has had a couple of
Franklin's, two 1st-winter Lesser Black-backs (making at least 5 individuals
of this species in the area so far), a 1st-winter California, and an adult
Thayer's flying around the area.
I don't think I omitted anything, but if he gets the Laughing that usually
hangs around Paris Landing, it will be an 8 species gull day!! Very rarely
do we get 7 gulls in a day, much less 8. Eight would probably tie, if not
set, the record for most gull species seen in a day in TN. Anybody remember
having more? I know the most I've had is 7 in a day, a couple of times.
I can't wait to get back up there on Tuesday, hopefully.
Good Birding!!
