Pace Point area of Henry Co
I got a call from Jeff Wilson this morning, and he and Nancy Moore were
enjoying a great morning of birding. As expected, big numbers of loons are
finally in. They had over 300 in one sweep from Rocky Point this morning,
including a Pacific. With the Red-throated I had earlier in the week, that
makes a sweep already of the expected loons (but who's to say there isn't a
Yellow-billed around for a 3rd time?). They also had an Eared Grebe in this
area, a decidedly uncommon visitor to this area. Usually one a year in the
area is about all we get.

Who knows what the rest of the weekend will bring, can't wait to get back up
there next week!

Good Birding!!
