For at least the 5th year in a row the white red-tailed hawk is back in  
western Williamson County. Sherlene Spicer-Greenhow called to say she saw the  
hawk in the same area of Hwy. 96 West where it was seen all last winter.

Also in Williamson County along the Natchez Trace Parkway on  11/6 there were 
6 Purple Finches, 3 males and 3 females, feeding on  staghorn sumac and 
honeysuckle berries.
