Reelfoot Lake
Hwy. 213
Late yesterday,10-31-06, afternoon driving back from an errand in town I
noticed a flock of at least 300 Am. White Pelicans flying over hwy 213. Also
heard Snow Geese flying high last night over Tiptonville. I have heard several
people mention hearing the snow geese at night or actually seen them in flight
over the past week. The DC Cormorant population keep increasing and they are
seen regularly doing a drive. Hope soon to see the White Pelicans in with them.
One year I had over 200 White Pelicans on my shore line feeding on the shad.
