While watching the Vanderbilt/UK football game today at the VU football
stadium, I observed an adult Peregrine Falcon flying over the stadium.
This bird circled around the area for about 5 minutes and flew directly
overhead on one occasion.  Earlier, there had been a very nice
Red-tailed Hawk, but the Peregrine was the highlight of the first half
of the football game.  Obviously, this is in Davidson County, perhaps 1
mile or less from downtown Nashville.
