[TN-Bird] The wren got in

Somehow a Carolina Wren got in our house today. We figured it must have flown
in through the door when somebody held it open too long.
It was in our garage converted into offices. We have three levels of high
shelves on the walls where we put our file boxes. The boxes have holes in the
side where you grip them when you carry them. That wren was inspecting some of
the holes in the boxes.
He didn't seem very afraid of any of us at all. Eventually my sisters and
mother shooed him toward the door which we opened to get him out. They also had
taken a screen out of a window hoping he would fly out that way. He sat on top
of the door a minute and then flew out safe and sound.
During his time in he flew around close to the ceiling lighting only a few
seconds here and there, clinging to shelves, clinging to the cord for our
fluorescent lights, sitting on top of the fluorescent lights, etc. It almost
seemed
like he wanted to stay and was looking for a good place to sit. I don't think
we have enough insects in our office to accomodate him for long, however ;-)
