[TN-Bird] Finally! PUFI

I was beginning to feel left out. Finally got one of those
Purple Finches everyone else has been getting when I ran home
for lunch. Only one male, maybe a second year? He had the
raspberry color but the sides and belly still showed significant
streaking where it should be white. (And no it wasn't a House
Finch and wishful thinking :-).

A Cooper's made a pass and spooked everything off so the rest
of lunch was a bit boring watching a lone titmouse frozen to
the feeder with a sunflower seed in its mouth that was not about
to fly over to a tree to crack and eat it.

It seems to be shaping up for a good winter invasion year with
lots of Red-breasted Nuthatches, Purple Finches, and Pine Siskins
(still waiting on mine). Dare we hope for Evening Grosbeaks?
Think it's been 14 years since I had them at one of my feeders.
