I just received a call from Jeff Wilson, who has found and photographed a
Clark's Grebe out from the main (south) parking lot on Mud Island. He and
Jessie McCabe are still with the bird. The Clark's is continually hanging
around with 3 Ruddy Duck's. Also present when the Grebe was found was a
Common Loon and  3 Horned Grebes. Since then other birds have arrived
including 3 Red-breasted Mergansers and a Surf Scoter. The Grebe is hanging
out around the jetty straight out from the parking area.

Jeff said birds are moving in regularly, and that while some of the birds
are moving upstream or downstream, the Grebe is staying in the same area. 

I plan to try and get down this afternoon, and Jeff will hopefully be able
to get back later and check on the status of the bird.
