The Red Phalarope continues at its regular location as of 3 PM on Sunday for 
the 10th day. From the north take Swayne Road off of Elkhorn-Nobles Road into 
the north end of the refuge. This road leads directly into a small parking 
area and the bird stays on the mud flat just south of this lot. From the south 
go 
east on Elkhorn Road from the Elkhorn settlement into the south entrance of 
the refuge. Continue past the observation deck parking area until to get to the 
north entrance and then take a right into the above mentioned parking area. 
Sunday the bird was seen mostly on the south shore line of the mud flat 
directly across from the lot.
