Britton Ford Unit
Big Sandy Unit
Henry & Benton Counties

I met Mike Todd and three ladies from Montgomery County at
Britton Ford this morning. We all had great looks at the Red
Phalarope. Mike and the ladies went to look for gulls at
Paris Landing and I headed for the Big Sandy Unit.

I spent the rest of this day checking out likely fields for
sparrows, seeing lots of these little guys but only five
species. An interesting sight was 79 Am. White Pelicans
snoozing on a sand bar east of Pace Point.

A lone Bald Eagle was seen soaring over Bennets Creek. I 
waited by the eagle roost until dark in hopes of seeing
more, but they were a no show. That will change later this
month.
